Within Reach Healing (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through our website and our communications with you, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to withinreachhealing.com and to the phone, email, and text communications we exchange with you about our services.

Protected health information created or received in the course of care is separately governed by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and by our Notice of Privacy Practices, which is available at our office on request. Where the two documents overlap, the Notice of Privacy Practices governs your health information.

• Appointment and scheduling information. Details you submit when booking through our online scheduling system, including the service requested and the practitioner you are booking with.
• Health information you choose to share. Symptoms, history, or concerns you send us in an inquiry or intake form.
• Website usage information. Basic technical data your browser sends automatically, such as IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and referring site. This is collected through standard website analytics and is not used to identify you personally.

How We Use Your Information

• To schedule, confirm, reschedule, or remind you about appointments.
• To respond to questions, requests, and inquiries you send us.
• To provide and coordinate care within our practice.
• To send information about our services, practitioners, and offerings when you have asked to receive it.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent, trade, or otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

SMS/Text Messaging Privacy

Text messaging is optional. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving care or of any purchase. If you reply STOP, we will send one confirmation message and then stop sending texts to that number. You may opt back in at any time by contacting our office.

Because standard text messaging is not a secure channel, we keep the content of our texts limited to scheduling and general practice communication. Please do not send sensitive health details by text.

How We Share Information

We share personal information only in these circumstances:

• Service providers. Companies that operate systems on our behalf, such as our website host, our online scheduling and practice management platform, and our phone and messaging provider. These providers may access information only as needed to perform their services for us and are required to protect it.
• With your direction. When you ask us to share information, such as with another provider involved in your care.
• Legal requirements. When required by law, regulation, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our patients, our staff, or the public.

Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in status, and text messaging consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Online Scheduling

Appointment booking is handled through a third party scheduling and practice management platform. When you book online, the information you enter is submitted to that platform and handled under its own privacy and security terms in addition to this policy.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards intended to protect the information we hold, including secure transmission of data submitted through our website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sending detailed health information through email, text, or website forms.

Your Choices

• Text messages. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or reply HELP for assistance.
• Email. Use the unsubscribe link in any promotional email, or contact our office. We will still send messages related to your appointments and care.
• Phone. Ask our office to change how or when we contact you.
• Your records. To request access to or correction of information we hold about you, contact our office. Requests involving health records are handled under our Notice of Privacy Practices.

Children’s Privacy

Our website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information online from children under 13. When we care for a minor patient, information is provided by and communicated with a parent or legal guardian.

Links to Other Websites

Our site links to services we use, such as our scheduling platform, and occasionally to outside resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we do not operate. We encourage you to read their policies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our practice, our tools, or applicable law change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted here.
